I chose this image because of the clarity of the lighting that the direct sun gave and how it made the colors pop and made them very vibrant. Making it more pleasing to the eye. In this image I made sure to adjust my camera to the natural and direct sunlight I was in so the image didn't end up being overexposed and made sure that the white balance was correct so the colors would pop the way I wanted. I also really like how I went about editing it, I focused in on making only my mom and the chicken in color while the rest of the background was in black and white. I made sure to consider positioning of lighting when I took this.

I chose this image because it is compositionally dynamic having this close up view of the flower and how the lines and shapes are very distinct and visible. The viewers eyes can move across the organic lines that the flower creates. All the different elements come together and the black and white coloring makes the image more focused on the elements and textures instead of the color of the flower. I took line and shape into consideration when taking this

I chose this image because it was my favorite portrait I did. I liked the editing I did with the image, having only the flower in color, really bringing the viewers focus to that. I used studio light instead of natural light,so I made sure to adjust my camera settings accustomed to that. I made sure to consider the position of the studio lights when taking this, so just enough light was on her face. Not too much to be overexposed and not too little were it was underexposed and parts of her were darkened out.

I chose this image because I liked the view point of it and how the camera was pointing down towards my legs instead of the camera being pointed forward like it typically would. It gives a different viewpoint of a person making the photo have depth and be appealing to the viewer. It makes the photo dynamic and the black and white just ties it together for me.
Image 6
I chose this picture because I loved the vividry of the color and how the background was completely blurred out, the focus being on the shell. The viewers eyes can go over te bright colors and really focus in on what the main subject point was. I made sure to adjust my camera to the lighting it was in and I also took aperture into consideration to get the blurred affect I desired. I took aperture into consideration when taking this photo.
